Have you got an idea you would love to turn into a business?
Pitching is basically making a presentation of a business idea or an existing brand to potential investors. Some others pitch their product to potential customers.
During the Teenex Reality Show, the teenex housemates were grouped into teams to work on business plans within five days.
Team Lemon headed by Bam Bam (teenex housemate) came up with the brand ‘Exchange Home’, an innovative idea solving the challenge of housing in Nigeria. The idea is to build nano houses, that is, small sized houses with the luxury of big houses, with the unique selling point of 24 hours solar power supply. Rentage for an ‘Exchange home’ cost N300,000 for two years.
The beautiful thing about nano house is that it is moveable. So if you are relocating to another city, you can sure move with your house!
Isn’t that amazing?
Team Yellow headed by Glory (Teenex housemate) pitched the innovation, ‘Bio Power’ with the product bio gas. The idea is to partner with farmers and sewage brands to convert the waste generated into bio gas for better productivity.
Team Red headed by Patricia (Teenex housemate) pitched the brand ‘Chao Niger’ meaning eat Nigeria. That is an African food company with the unique selling point of creating an eating environment with a touring center – an eatery merged with tourism.
So the three teams pitched engaged in a friendly ptch contest at Access bank, Umuahia with Team Yellow emerging winner of the pitch contest. The three teams received funding in accordance to their presentation on financials.
